Choose right Microplate for your lab

Corning Assay Microplate คือ Microplate ที่ใช้ในการทดสอบ (Assay) ต่างๆ เช่น General assays, Cell-based assays, Fluorescent, Luminescence, และ Immunoassays เป็นต้น มีจำนวนหลุม (well format) เท่ากับ 96, 384 และ 1536 Wells

สีของเพลท มีให้เลือก 3 สี คือ เพลทสีใส (Clear plate / Transparent plate), เพลทสีดำ (Black Plate), เพลทสีขาว (White Plate)  ถูกออกแบบให้เหมาะสำหรับการทดสอบ(Assay) ที่แตกต่างกัน ดังนี้

1. เพลทสีใส (Clear plate / Transparent plate) เหมาะสำหรับงานที่อ่านผลด้วยค่า Absorbance (Colormetric) เช่น Cell-based Assay, ELISA, การอ่านค่าความเข้มข้นของ Protein และ Nucleic Acid
2. เพลทสีดำ (Black Plate) ใช้สำหรับการวิเคราะห์ด้วยวิธี Fluorescent เช่น Intensity, Fluorescence polarization, TRF-FRET เป็นต้น กรณีที่ Microplate Reader มีตัวกำเนิดแสงของเครื่องอยู่ ด้านล่าง ของ Plate ใช้ Black Plate Clear Bottom แต่ถ้าเครื่อง Microplate Reader มีตัวกำเนิดแสงของเครื่องอยู่ ด้านบน ของ Plate ให้ใช้ Black Plate Solid Bottom ในการวิเคราะห์
3. เพลทสีขาว (White Plate) ใช้สำหรับการวิเคราะห์ด้วยวิธี Luminesence, radioactive เป็นต้น กรณีที่ Microplate Reader มีตัวกำเนิดแสงของเครื่องอยู่ ด้านล่าง ของ Plate ใช้ White Plate Clear bottom แต่ถ้า Microplate Reader มีตัวกำเนิดแสงของเครื่องอยู่ ด้านบน ของ Plate ใช้ White Plate Solid Bottom ในการวิเคราะห์

พื้นผิวของเพลท ที่แตกต่างกันของ Assay Plate ได้ออกแบบมาให้เหมาะกับ Assay ต่างๆ ดังนี้

• Cell-based Assays มีพื้นผิว 3 แบบ คือ
  • Tissue Culture (TC)-treated เหมาะสำหรับการเลี้ยง Attachment cells
  • Ultra-Low Attachment การเลี้ยงเซลล์ให้แบบ Spheroid 3D
  • Cell-BIND เหมาะสำหรับ Attachment cells ที่มีการยึดเกาะได้ยากโตได้ช้า
• ELISA plate ที่มีพื้นผิวแบบ High binding, Not treated (medium binding)  เหมาะสำหรับการวิเคราะห์ด้วยวิธี ELISA หรืองาน  Immunoassays ต่างๆ
• Nonbinding (NBS™) เหมาะสำหรับงาน reducing non-specific binding สำหรับงาน protein และ nucleic acid binding ที่มีความเข้มข้นต่ำ
• Sulfhydryl (Sulfhydryl-BIND™) Binding Sulfhydryl มี covalently-linked maleimide groups ที่จับกับ sulfhydryl groups โดย SH moieties เหมาะสำหรับ site-directed orientation ของ antibodies.
• Carbohydrate (Carbo-BIND) Binding Surface มี hydrazide groups covalently ที่จับกับ carbohydrate groups เหมาะสำหรับ oxidized antibodies, carbohydrates, และ glycosylated proteins
